  • Spartan 6, ARTIX 7 FPGA and ARM SITARA CORTEX A9 based SATA2.0 and USB2.0 Online Data Encryption Decryption Hardware System.
  • Dual Spartan 6 FPGA based High Speed Isolated Data Acquisition System used for Analog Data Acquisition with Pulse Time Stamping in PC and Stand Alone Mode.
  • cPCI based Thermo-couple Card using Spartan 6 FPGA used for reading thermocouple data and transferring the data to CPU Host over cPCI – 33MHz Interface.
  • cPCI based Leakage Detector Card using Spartan 6 FPGA used for reading thermocouple data and transferring the data to CPU Host over cPCI – 66MHz Interface
  • ACTEL Pro Asic 3E FPGA and ARM Cortex M3 controller based Nuclear Detector Type Pulse Signal Generator for calibration of nuclear instrumentation system.

SENIOR DESIGN EXPERT
  • More than 17 years of experience (as a scientific officer at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay) in design and development of precision electronic circuits, and overall system design of complex instrumentation systems for nuclear reactors.
  • Over 16 years of research and development experience in advanced DSP-based applications with an emphasis to conceptualization, final implementation and testing on FPGA, microcontroller, and DSP-based processors.
  • Worked on applications of DSP techniques for nuclear instrumentation.
  • One algorithm was implemented on FPGA and a patent application was filed for it. The same work was selected as a part of Indian representation for the 3rd meeting of International Atomic Energy Working Group on Advanced Techniques for Heavy Water Reactor, Vienna.

  • JPEG2000 encoder IP on FPGA for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Bangalore.
  •  IP-cores for digital communication like Direct Digital synthesis, Viterbi decoder, RS-decoder and turbo decoder for satellite communication systems (ISRO, Ahmedabad),.
  • IP-cores for digital radio communication like vocoder and open-air interface protocol on DSP.
  • FPGA based instrumentation for multi-channel gamma-sensor.
  • PC-based capacitance measurement system and reverse bias leakage current   measurement system for multi-channel Silicon radiation detectors for Large Hadron Collider Experiment at CERN, Geneva.
  • Self-Powered Neutron Detector amplifier prototype for 500 MW nuclear reactors. Electronics Corporation of India Limited has successfully manufactured and delivered 250 amplifiers based on this technology, worth Rs. 3 Crores, to 500 MW Tarapur Atomic Power Plant.
